Hmm...a travel site reporting bad weather for October, followed by ads for 'get away to the sun'.

We had a very light smattering of snow about 6am on Sunday, just a few flakes mixed in with a rain shower.

I've got to say though that any snow will save me about £12 a day, as I've got an agreement that I can work from home rather than trek 65 miles each way in the snow

Noticed yesterday that our local Homebase has a large stock of snow shovels for sale.
