  cruiser2 14:24 29 Mar 09

She is not yet old enough for the old age pension

  sunnystaines 14:35 29 Mar 09

she must be bad in the flesh for hubby to watch those films.

  Kaacee 14:43 29 Mar 09

Probably will not prevent her trying to claim it though

  newman35 15:02 29 Mar 09

I think I would expect her not to be aware of what her husband was watching - par for the marital course!
The real 'villain' to me is the husband who is being paid £40k a year of our money to be an 'advisor'.
Not be long before he's packing his bags...?

why the taxpayer has to fund her home internet connection at all?

Any other public sector workers here offered the same luxury?

  interzone55 15:42 29 Mar 09

If you work from home it's quite common for your employer to stump up for the connection, or it has been the last two places I've worked.

This particular incident seems to be a pure accident, and the culprit has been punished by his wife...

  sunnystaines 16:17 29 Mar 09

it was pay per view tv not internet.

  johndrew 16:23 29 Mar 09

Given the apparent looseness of the rules surrounding MPs` expenses, I`m surprised there are no reports of claims for visits to lap dancing clubs or similar as well.

  interzone55 16:56 29 Mar 09

It was a Virgin Media TV & Internet package...
