Yes a good invention. I heard the guy interviewed on the radio, and he said it did not give him an actual "sight" image but it was like someone giving a 3 d image by touching your palm or somewhere.

of people with visual difficulties and the skills they display to overcome them. How on earth someone can distinguish little dots on paper by fingertip or, in this case as I understand it, a small electrical 'shock' on the tongue is truly amazing.
