is DJohn still on the forum?

I found his advice great but I've not seen him for ages. Has he got a new handle or just left?

Glad to see that Djohn hasn't forsaken the helping part of the computer completley...

If I remember rightly there was a bit of upset back along where Djohn became a bit dishartened and back off from helping (don't blame him)

As with most sites we tend to rely on a few members that in many ways lead us with there expertise in there specialist subject, the likes of vog, woodchip to name a few who seem to have alarms that alert them when there subject comes up! Or have many monitors that show the forums that they belong to... Do they ever sleep?

Just had a look at Woodchips link and I must say I'm not impressed with the site.
It's very messy and nowhere as clear as PCA

And joined up. Lots of well known PCA names there.

It's not meant to be the same as PCA and it's not messy at all in my opinion. A nice, friendly site for less urgent problems and support.

Djohn still occasionally pops in here, but now finds most of his comforts elsewhere.

ashdav--- You will find that the 'computertroubles' site, was started by some very good and knowledgeable PCA members. The site may not look very good to you, but the experience of the members, is always available.

Its fine once the navigation is understood, lots of old faces there.
