Remember Carrera's Explorer laptop?

Are you old enough to remembrt the above. Got one still working with Win '95. Weighs a ton. Is it worth anything? I doubt it but opinions would be welcome.

Yeah, I know. It's a laugh ain't it? XCan you imagine having one of these slung over your shoulder on the way to work. It'll break your shoulders. I reckon it must weigh at least 8/9 lbs

8/9 lbs lightweight :0)

I still use a circa 1989 "laptop" for work on some locomotives.
Its bigger and heavier than my Medion desktop.

We had 10, I still have two that will boot (made up of parts from all the others)
Green screens, 240Mb hard drives 128K memory
Batteries died years ago but we have an adaptor that will power from the locomotives 110v DC power supply.
