Potato Clock

A friend is starting a new job on a building site, and has found digs nearby. His new boss says he must get a Potato Clock. But where can he buy one?

I thought it was April 1st (or is it Groundhog Day?) again when I read this.

If he gets up at 7.30 he'll wont need one!

7.30 sounds a bit late!!

Good job "Graham" isn't as touchy as that other fella on the site or he'd have took off in a huff by now.

Fourm member. Yes it sounds as though alan14 has cracked it. Caught me though. Brings to mind when I first started work and one of the workers sent me up to the local cake shop for half a dozen virgin tarts. (Yes, I went, I have the excuse that I was only 14 at the time).

I'm with alan14 in that it's always been an old joke about getting up at potato clock in the morning.
