Didn't take long since its launch, did it? Quite easy to do, as it turns out, and a 320GB HD has been attached to it as well! TC.

I guess it won't take long for the mod kits to appear the same as the old X box. We converted ours by adding the chip, screen and a large hard drive. Got it connected to the router by a cable and can download to it from the computer upstairs using FTP. Use it for backups and film storage as well as an X box.

The Xbox is best being Softmodded - basically a new dashboard is installed on the hard drive, so there's no need for a chip and it doesn't vois the warrenty as the orignal MS dash can be restored. Won't go into details about it on here though as it's against forum rules, but I don't think it will be long before the PS3 and Xbox 360 are exploited in the same way. Not sure about the Wii, I don't know what the connectivity is like on that one.
