Password change and/or removal

One of my flock has reinstalled his internet.
When his ISP calls for his password to log on- the word he has always used is rejected.
Likewise with his Email client.

What does he have to do to
A. retrieve the old word to make it work or
B. change it?

Contact the ISP, which may be easier said than done when you don't have access to the net.

Just a thought though, when I signed up to O2 I got a letter with my password attached, maybe they've got that knocking around somewhere.

Also worth checking the caps lock

His ISP is a 'John' - In Delhi ;-}
Meanwhile I have printed off
Tools/Options/Secuity in both FireFox and Thuderbird to play with.
Should keep him quiet for a bit.
So I'll tick it for now anyway
