Open University presentation

Have just been to my son's Open University presentation for his BA (honours) degree in Ely Cathedral.

How nice it was to see these people of all ages receiving their various degrees. The pride on their faces evident and reflecting the years of hard slog whilst probably holding down a job at the same time.

Congratulations to all of them and may they prosper in the future.

is in my opinion one of the most satisfying qualifications one can obtain. It's a testament to the individuals determination and persistance in what can be at times an extremely lonely pursuit. Many do so while working full time, raising a family, caring for loved ones etc.

Well done indeed to your son!

Thanks WTM and yes, it was at times very difficult but he persevered and won through in the end.
