She has not been convicted of any criminal offence, and yet we still have a convicted perjurer that has kept his title and is allowed to sit and comment in the House of Lords.

It niggled me and many thousands more, when Lester Piggott lost his title. I think the only person who wasn't niggled was Lester Piggott himself.

but it can have devastating effects on other people.

This woman acknowledged that she had done wrong, but that didn't stop her from going ahead. She's paid the price, but life doesn't end because you have an honour taken away.
