Suggests that Sky be forced to make its sports and film channels available to other broadcasters. click here

Do you reckon it's good news for the consumer if it goes ahead? TC.

there is enough good TV on the free view channels with out having to pay extortionate prices that sky and other providers may ask for.

What a good idea.

We could also make football teams who've paid good money for good players let those players play for other teams.

Or filmmakers who've spent millions on a good production allow other chains to show them.

Or record companies, or publishers etc.

It's market forces.

If you've taken a risk and paid millions for something you're entitled to decide what to do with it.

I notice Ofcom didn't come in to force all the tv companies to chip in to help Setanta who took just such a risk, and failed.
