I run XP on my computer and am having major problems with my Norton as I seem to have lost the supervisor rights to it. I cannot access anything on it - is there a way around this - I cannot uninstall it to re-install it as it needs supervisor rights to do this!

Go to Start >

And then run >

And type regedit >

Expand HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE >

Expand SOFTWARE >

Then find symantec folder right click on the folder and change your permissions to allow full control.

You Will then have to reinstall it over the top of the failed install and then unistall it, any probs email me...
