This has happened a few times. But will not go away now.It is noisy goes fast slows down.Re light barely flickers. It is like one of the drives is running.
Anyone got any ideas before I open it up.
Computer is working fine just the noise of something running all of the time.
Disabled floppy-CD and R/W from device Manager.
But still the running noise.
Everything has been cleaned inside recently so it should not be that.
Could it just be a noisy PSU fan.

I was about to suggest the air duster treatment but I see you have it cleaned, have you gave the PSU fan a good dusting? Along with any other hidden fans. I notice quite alot of noise when there is a dust build up on any of my fans.

check the graphics fan, I no longer use graphics cards with fans only heatsinks [not a gamer] as they get so loud as the fan bearings wear so quickly. Yet other fans go for years without these problems.
