This remarkable lady has died recently. I am privileged to belong to a club of which she was a founder member. She represents a generation who would not have tolerated todays riots etc, and I only hope that there are people like her in the younger generation. While they took place shortly before she was born, she represented a generation who remembered the Tonypandy riots.

There's nothing new about rioting.

She was a remarkable woman of any generation, riots or no riots.

What a wonderful woman, if only we had more people with her spirit, tenacity, and joi de vivre today, we would be a much better society. I think a good word for her would be "Indominatable"
