MS withdrawel of support for Windows XP

I have the Norton Internet Security installed. Will this give me adequate protection now that XP support has expired. Purchase of a new PC is on the cards with a later OS but the Piggy Bank is not quite ready. Can I hang on a bit with XP without getting any more grey hairs. Many thanks. Buckland 2

Keep the Norton fully updated and you should be OK.

2 days after support ends I'm getting updates this morning.

BT, why strange? they are sent out in staggered batches, I got mine yesterday (9th). There is no way the server can send them to all pcs at the same time.

You should be OK with Norton, but check when it comes up for renewal that they are still supporting XP. I haven't seen a list of the AV's that are/aren't yet.
