Wing suit madman.

Anyone know where to buy one of these wing suit thingy's? As one would be great for nipping down to my local Sainsbury after jumping from the chimney.

I accept I will look a bit daft walking home but swings and roundabouts.

This as nothing to do with the base jump, unless it could be used for future observations purposes. But seeing the clip and the mention of North Face, brought some old memories back to me.

I knew two people who lost their lives on the North East Ridge in 1982. Peter Boardman whose body was recovered in 1992, and Joe Tasker whose body still remains there somewhere.

I bet we all thought that wing suits were new, but as this early Pathe film showing a descendant (pun intended) of Icarus shows, we are now reaping the rewards of the development failures that the brave Icarus dynasty undertook for our leisure pursuits.

p.s. I presume that all the Icarus wing men, had become fathers before the flights...
