Gosh! Still I think I'll save myself $349.99.

Suppose its handy to "see" your data being written to the drive, only other comment I can think up is "nice case, shame about the optical drives and the PSU" they look manky. ;-))

$349.99 converted to pounds is a good price for a 150GB Raptor with 16MB cache.Although it will probably end up £350 if it arrives here

  wolfie3000 02:22 07 Jan 06

I dont see the point in it.
the specs aint that amazing so its in a clear case after 10 minutes the novelty will wear off.

the price is too high for what it is.

My HD is inside the PC! Do I have to fork out for new clear side panels for my case as well?

  Mr Mistoffelees 08:41 07 Jan 06

I already have two WD Raptors, they are very fast in use, in RAID 0. However, I won't be replacing them with see through ones!

but no doubt they will appeal to the section of the market that loves transparent cases with internal lighting.

I'll avoid the temptation to say that I can see right through that gimmick.

(Whoops, too late!)
