That keyboard

Remember the thread ages ago about a keyboard where the lettering changed depending on what you are doing, digitally on the keys themselves?

If I remember rightly FE said he emailed the people, what happened?

This was a concept keyboard, and isn't in production yet.

There's a huge amount of development work still to do, so don't hold your breath.

Oh well, thanks for replying FE.

In your opinion, how many years before it will arrive?

  Forum Editor 00:56 08 Jan 06

click here think that it will come to market this year, but they're in Moscow, and I know a bit about Moscow design idealists - I go there to work fairly often. In my opinion we'll not see it this year, or next, but I will be delighted to be proved wrong.

A lot depends on developing the technology at a price which will assure it a reasonable market slice, and potential manufacturers will want to do some serious viability studies before investing in this.

So,following along the same lines of "dead pixels" what happens when this keyboard develops its own form?
