It's not my day!

I've spent a very long time recently - all of thirty minutes - researching my family tree. I managed to trace my ancestry way back to the very tree my folks first swung about in some two and a half million years ago and thought that was that. Now, some scientific twits have just suggested that man walked this earth more than TWENTY million years ago! Most inconvenient and disconcerting, I can tell you.

This now means I have to spend more of my precious time doing further research and it also means I'll have to add more names to my Christmas card list!! Naturally, because I'm not daft, I send them to Santa Claus for delivery. He knows exactly what to do with them!

I was intrigued to find that most members of my family tree were flower arrangers specialising in hanging baskets. This could possibly be explained by the fact that most of them ended up on the gallows, don't you think?

I hope this little glimpse of my heritage brings a smile to your faces 'cos I'm sure the rope wiped the smile of my ancestors! :o)) Have a nice day! TC.
