Won't touch it until they consider porting it to XP.

It will also have to be very very good to beat Chrome 6...

I might have given it a try - but alas and alack, I am still running XP.

I have found it excellent, faster, better for banking, easier to navigate, more user friendly.
I did have one strange problem.Originally the Tabs were Charcoal grey. They then lost their colour, and became the default IE colour.
I was trying to put the "Links Bar" on top of the "Address bar" using a registry hack, this failed, but when I restarted IE9, Lo and behold the Tabs were grey again which I like.
Are everyones Tabs Charcoal Grey?
After all this is a beta version and will have oddities.

watched a online video on it, looked good, but will wait for feedback on next beta, seen a few flaky reports for this one.

We've had a thread on IE9 beta running for a couple of days - quite a few people (including me) have been using it, and reporting experiences - you might find it helpful.
