A terrific, real photographic, aerial view. No written clues at all as , yet again, this is an un-posted card. A postcard in the S.F.S.Series, publisher unknown.

Looks like a fairly new estate on the edge of a town. Interestingly, long row of perhaps three storey houses at the top left of the picture. Quite a few cars parked on road, maybe mid sixties.

It's gone very quiet hasn't it?

The only real clue seems to be the church in the centre, how many churches in the country that look like that?

Top left corner looks like a shopping high street.

Just heard the proverbial pin drop ;o)

  Main Access 22:44 18 Jan 08

there looks to be a garage to the left of the church

Think this ones going to be a tough. I thought that looked like a garage as well Main Access.

I just hope that the huge open expanse on the right has escaped the developer's plans?

I thought I would try a bit of research on the church, have you seen how many churches there are!!

  STREETWORK 09:45 19 Jan 08

So, the clues are:

1. Land to the right has been developed.
2. For a postcard picture it has to be a major town(famous perhaps).
3. There is another church nearby to the north.
4. The church could be unique.
5, The church looks to have a small spire in the centre of the main roof.

Hmm, is it in Oxford?

Only just got to look at this one. What about the bottom right corner of the picture. Is that some kind of experimental farming place? Also the big hangar looking building just to the left of the church, garage maybe? There seems to be a second church just a bit up from the main church. But that could be a school type building. Is there a barricade across the road, bottom right?
