Identification Longshot/Talking Point 207

These are genuinely unidentified and are for all you naval historians, a.k.a. beached fish-heads. One is obviously a warship, more then that I cannot tell. The other dull, blurred one is a bit of a mystery to me.

G94 - HMS Sorceress , I think, still checking.

I think the moored warship ia a German V25 Type Destroyer, sunk by a mine in the North Sea on 1 Aug 1916 ???

You are right, I now think - HMS Sorceress - I was too hasty!!

The bow appears to be quite different, I think it looks more like HMS Serapis, so I plump for Newuser38's identification.

Have you got an image for HMS Serapis, as the only shot i have found so far click here shows a ship with one funnel, where your photo the ship has three funnels.

Well Done.

One down and one to go although I don't think we could possibly identify all that is going on in this card for certain.
