I am pretty sure this is Queen Street Oxford. Used to stay at Turf Tavern nearby in the late '50's when a friend lived near there.

Quite correct! For a start there were tack heads under the leading edge of the dashboard (too much info!!) Although made in 1948 I owned it in about 1960- £300 or so I think...

john bunyan, I bought mine in 1967 for, would you believe, £150 and I still have the original HP agreement which my Dad had to sign because I was under 21 - aah halcyon days.
