The M62 over Rakewood Viaduct was supposed to be ice resistant. Firstly they were going to heat it, then decided that the constant winds would simply blow the ice and snow away.

They were wrong, very wrong...

You may need to modify the direction of the projection a bit and tow a large trailer for the gas - especially on a long run :-o

The council or the Highways Agency will send you the bill for re-surfacing. All caught on cctv as well :O)

Hot tarmac and rubber tyres make a very good contact area. Perhaps too good for 4 wheels, but no so for 2 wheels.
