HSBC raises fees for 700,000 business customers.

HSBC said the new fees were part of an overhaul of accounts aimed at providing "clearer, more transparent pricing".

Whenever I see the words transparent and banking in the same article I am immediately sceptical as I am with the many ads which are now playing on TV telling me that the banks are really here for me and I am safe in there hands.

The cynic in me says it really does not matter whether I am safe in the banks hands or not as if they are caught doing something, which for the rest of us, would be illegal or at least unlawful, they will face no responsibility for their actions.
