My son is in Malta. I need to send out some money asap. He does not have a bank account.

Any suggestions as to the best way to do this please?

They have offices all over Malta, and will pay your son in local currency. Go into any Western Union branch and you can transfer the money in minutes - you need to fill out a transfer form, and then phone your son with instructions about how to collect the cash.

click here and use the 'Find an agent' link at the top of the page. This will help you to find the nearest Western Union agent to where you live.
