I was reading yesterdays Metro and kraft an american company was trying to buy them out. Cadbury's has always been Britain's favorite and should rightly stay that way. What do you think.

The yanks have already brought Many of the cars companies now they trying to buy our brand of chocolate that is 100% British even thought the ingredients are bought else where but produced here in Britain

Rowntrees were bought out a few years ago with similar promises about investment and job security, and very shortly afterward a large part of the organisation was shipped abroad or closed down. If enough sweeteners are offered cadbury's will go the same way.

"If enough sweeteners are offered cadbury's will go the same way."

if you can read this post don't sell your business to the yanks or any other organisation you've been around for a very long time stay that way for the People of Great Britain and from all walks of life. Remember how you helped the children that came to Britain to escape the German Nazi's.

Nice to see that there's some confidence coming back to the market.

The people at the top often see massive savings coming from such takeovers, but they often don't materialise and they finish up paying over the odds for a company.
