It is easy to see how a large following can be built up from Internet marketing thereby assuring good sales for their first record but if they are to continue 'giving away' tracks via the net then they'll lose a lot of money.

It'll be interesting to see how this progresses but it appears to be the future for 'music' of this genre.

who said it wouldn't work, and couldn't be done. It was pretty obvious to anyone who knew anything about internet technology that it would work, and could certainly be done.

Later this week I'll be spending an evening with an up and coming recording artist, and I'll be talking to him about this very subject. I'm interested to hear his views.

there are alot of internet based bands out there and have huge followings and some of them are better then some in the charts.
Its just a matter of looking around abit.
