This is a specific development however and a practical one.

Oh no!! Just when I thought I'd decided between a Plasma or an LCD TV!!

But then as LCD TVs are still being improved, perhaps its more like 8 years from now before Nanotube technology starts to compete effectively. Just in time for the London Olympics?
