Firefox vs Internet Explorer

I no firefox is alot more securer and i am a true fan of it. But i do find it takes up a large amount of System memory workin at 14,000kb the 2nd largest process towards explorer.exe. Yet Internet Explorer runs at 3,000kb max.

And i do seem to feel a problem when i have Media Player, Firefox, MSN Messenger goin with Norton at same time with 512mb RAM.

So maybe Firefox is too comprehensive for the average pc.
