February 21st.

No, nothing special as far as I know, which is my point.

Why is it fixed in my head?

No medical appointment, no anniversary,so why?

I will often think "Oh, it's Bastille Day/ Independence Day/Trafalgar Day" (I know, sad isn't it?) so why today?

I know someone will come up with something obscure like "Take Your Hamster to Work Day" in Minnesota or a variant, but I don;t think it'll be something like that.

Probably the most famous thing that happened on 21st Feb was the assassination of Malcolm X, but it's also the feastday of St Eustace of Antioch in the Eastern Orthodox church.

It just means that you are alive.
If it worked out the other way you would not be worrying about it.
Or maybbe Dementia creeping in and it's your birthday.

According to my daily diary its Washington's birthday, which is a Federal Holiday in the USA.

So perhaps its party time, with a bit of Line Dancing and a bit of Deep South guitar playing thrown in (Where's bingalau?) ;o)
