Does anyone know of a site where I could get the older pop music ie: 50s/60s.

Cheers, gedr.

Why don't you try Google. Type in music 50s. I just did that and got 1,230,000 results.

Thanks pj123, I think I tried 50s pop last week and got no results at all, I'll try your version.

There are some good tracks there. Lonnie Donegon, Does your chewing gum lose it's flavour on the bedpost overnight.

Who has still got that one?

Lonnie Donegon? Who's Lonnie Donegon? ;-)

"... chewing gum ..." has to have been one of Lonnie Donegan's worst records. What a shame that no-one remembers all the great stuff he did (Cumberland Gap, Rock Island Line etc.).

click here here's a site that maybe of interest.

To download music form the 50's and 60's i think you would probably have to use a program like Shareaza click here .

There are many results for 'Fifties' and 'Sixties'. Ofcourse using this program to download copywritted stuff is illegal.

If you do download any copywrited music using P2P software you would have to delete it from your computer before you save it to disc as an MP3 file which may or may not be able to be played on your DVD player.

I would check out Limewire...I could be described as getting on and have found Limewire a help in finding old tunes.
