you've seen the colour schemes of indian buses think of the awful colours they will put on jags

I have no problems with people from India.

If they can get the jobs, then good on them (its up to us to get them back).

The trouble is:-
Whilst I believe British workmanship is still the best in the world.

In this 'throw away society' we want cheapness not quality.

More like Ta Ta to Jaguar, you will now be able to get them in Taj Mahal white and Tikka red I suspect.

I seriously doubt that production of all Jaguars & Land Rovers will move to India, but they may assemble volume models over there.

The previous owners were American - did they move to the US then?

My company have had a plant in India for about 8 years now, I would seriously doubt their ability to build cars of Jag quality. We have huge headache with them trying to get any sort of quality at all. Yes, they are extremely cheap, but the engineering/management skill level is poor in the extreme, and staff turnover is unbelievable. We only give them our easiest products and still have no end of problems. Even if they moved component manufacture there, I would have serious concerns over buying a Jag.
(Ha! As if I could afford one)

Which pickle components are made at your Indian plant...
