You`ve started something now. All I got was £5000 but my wife is determined to go for it. so I`ve now bookmarked it.

My fiancee wrote an email to Mr Edmonds and got a lovely card through the post with a signed photo.

It's just as ridiculous at the TV game.

Haven't a clue what it's all about.

£100k on go 1 and £250k on go 2 - still only about 1000th place!

Nice distraction though

Had to comment, what a show today!!

That girl almost had the £250,000 but alas went home with £75,000 after "no dealing" on £125,000 offered by the banker at the final round. At the end she was offered to swap boxes and she said no, if she did she'd have won the Jackpot.

A wee birdie has said that the Thurs 4th May is a show to watch... You heard it here first!

Got £250,000 first go, do they e-mail the cheque?

  Stuartli 23:26 04 Apr 06

I would have done exactly the same as the lassie involved but, as any gambler will tell you, the temptation is always to go one step further in the belief that you will win the jackpot.

Although in her case it was an even bet i.e. £75k or £250k, she had had truly remarkable luck up to that point and it ran out at the critical moment.
