Computer Course with a Difference

  recap 09:16 01 Jun 05

I work for a charitable trust and one of my roles is as an IT tutor. The trust is looking to start a pilot programme for disadvantage children aged between 16 - 19 years old.

The course we feel is different in that we will be teaching them how to build a computer, CLAIT, Internet Security, Training and Development, Recruitment with Web-Based Support. At the end of a 30 week course the computer that they have been building in class will be theirs to keep.

My question is this:

Would you consider taking such a course, that at the moment holds no qualification, at the end of it will give the computer free of charge to the student?

I would appreciate it if you keep your comments to either a Yes or No as this is just for information gathering to see how viable a course of this kind would be.

If there is any interest outside of the above, please contact me via the yellow envolope and I will attempt to reply as soon as I can.

Thank you.
