Just read this. I suppose unless you are in her situation you can’t really understand what it must be like to have this in your family history. At least she is trying to understand the whole story behind the father she never knew no matter who he was or did. As for writing a book and profiteering then maybe it should stay in the closet.

Obviously born near the end of the war she would not have had a clue as to what was happening outside of her home never mind what her father actually did.
The excuse from most of them was that they were doing what they were ordered to do.
Refusal may also have sealed his fate.
No doubt she probably blames herself in some way for what her father did.
I am sure she has went through many sleepless nights worrying about it and what people may think of her because of what her dad did.

The book may help her clear the past for her.
But I think any proceeds from the book should have been donated to charity.
