About time, I have nearly been run down by these thing on a few occasions, the standard reply is always ’sorry I didn’t see you’. There is no eyesight test to be able to drive these things!

I know this topic has appeared in previous threads but is good to see that someone in a good position to make the right people take notice has made a bold statement.

Very hard to police these. If they go on the road they get in the way of cars. Older people are not always very tolerant off hooting cars either.

I have met one or two nasty mobility drivers and being disabled myself I give them an earful. I got trapped against a shop wall by a reversing 'lady' driver who went off without a backward look. A good job the tin leg took the hit.

Avoid Skegness unless you wear shin pads. They are everywhere.
