A review from the UK Met Office says it is becoming clearer that human activities are causing climate change.

Would this be the same UK Met Office that this week suspended seasonal forecasts because they failed to predict Britain’s worst winter for 31 years?

Too simplistic.

There are many reasons they have suspended these forecasts, like predicting a barbecue summer!

As we all know, the Met Office is liable to say anything but I doubt that anything they do say can be seriously considered as 'evidence'.

As you mentioned, is that perchance the same Met Office that last year, 'predicted' a barbecue summer and a mild winter? This does not instill confidence in their professional ability.

On the 'evidence' of folk observations, I predict a scorching hot summer because the '75 heatwave was preceded by an equally bitterly cold winter... well, it's as accurate as the met office's methods.
