Just in case anybody still believes the myth that wheel clamping is illegal in Scotland.

(Although this is the first for unpaid fines, wheel clamping has never been illegal in Scotland, only charging to remove the clamps was illegal. Abertay University used to do it, though I don't think they do anymore)

I think the confusion may arise as the clamping is done for unpaid road traffic offences; not for parking where you should not, as in England.

what es should do become clampers that clamp clampers vehicles, that way we double charge the clamping companies that are not honest.

Surely, in Scotland, unlicensed cowboy clamping is illegal. The courts calling it theft and extortion?
