I've just been reading the PCA review of the Canon Pixma iP4500 printer click here

Apparently, "the Canon Pixma iP4500's dye-based black costs 3.1 cents per page".

CENTS?? What the hell's that in real money?

Cut'n'paste writing.
Just get the PR blurb- cut it paste it and review done.
Most local papers do in Motoring reviews and the like have you not noticed?
Different paper same revues in every one.

is a freelance writer who works for other IDG sites. Melissa specialises in printers, and sometimes her articles are syndicated - it's a common practice in the publishing industry. That explains the 3.1 cents per page

"it's a common practice in the publishing industry"

But nobody bothers to check/edit the article so that it's relevant to the local market/currency?

Yes indeed another way of saying what I said.
Being so of course local editing would not be allowed I guess,

According to click here it's 2p per page.
