Scientists around the world have been striving for years to beat the big 'C'in its many forms. Now, the US National Cancer Institute team in Bethesda has announced a promising treatment, admittedly for some, that uses the patients' own gene technology to effect a cure. They say the process should be useful for other forms of the disease but they must do futher research to increase the number of modified 'receptors' needed.
It's not a miracle cure just yet, but it is another step forward in the right direction. Good luck, I say, to ALL the teams heavily involved in this vital work. TC.
