BlackViper used to be THE place to go if you needed some information about your operating system or how to do something. I think BV was the first site to have a comprehensive list of XP services telling you which ones were safe to turn off or disable

and I'm sure I must be missing something - the site seems OK, but it's just like a hundred others of its kind. Is there something I should know?

Perhaps I'm alone in this, but I'm afraid I cringe slightly when someone describes himself as "a 35 year old dude".

He's from California... they say dude a lot over there. BlackViper did use to be a great resource and it has been sorely missed by some of us. I look forward to seeing him get back up to speed again.
