Can't wait to see a new programme about Roman gladiators next week.

According to the blurb, it combines "archive footage of real events with movie clips"!

Should be fascinating.

Well Fred Flintstone had a cine camera, so I don't see why the Roman's wouldn't have access to the same technology...

If I remember correctly, Freddie Flinstone's cine camera had a bird in it rapidly chiselling the frames into the stone reel...
