I remember having to wait as an ambulanceman 18 years ago at our local district hospital which is fairly or unfairly named locally is No Hope.

So has anything changed where you live?

going to run beds at over 100% occupancy you'll 1) get ambulance queues, and 2) get hospital aquired infections.

It's so very simple it hurts.

You weren't one of the ambulances that had to wait outside Hope Hospital when my dad decided to park outside casualty. I could have killed him that day...

and there's a crisis even though there is not a crisis - wait till the yearly flu epidemic starts. And they'll still cut funds.
And if you are fully paid up with your taxes and in full time employment you have no hope ;(
