Advertising on a Web Site

More specifically, this Web Site.

Now we all know and, I think, accept that Advertising helps to defray the costs of running this Site and that without Advertisers, this Site would not exist.

However, I have a niggling thought that could be fed back to the Advertising Agencies.

That Adverts which, because of their size (too many Megabytes), delay the loading of the Site, every time one changes from one page to another, harm the reputation of the Advertiser more than the beneficial gain that might be garnered from the snazzy graphics.

Synopsis: We like your Adverts, but are likely to have little time for any product which slows down the access to our favourite Site.
