Would it be too much to ask for the time of postings to be in the 24 hour clock system as opposed to the 12 hour clock with no a.m. or p.m. to indicate the correct time of posting. I can and indeed have backtracked to verify the time of posting. 24 hour clock is simple and unambiguous.

No, it wouldn't be too much to ask, it's on our list of tweaks. We didn't put it at the top of the list however, so it may take a little while.
