Zone Alarm turned off?

Each time I start my PC I get a red shield [Windows Security Centre] on the task bar. When I click on it it tells me that Zone Alarm Firewall reports that it is currently turned off. It looks to me that Zone Alarm is just fine. This has only started to happen over the last couple of days.
I use Windows XP Home, SP2.
Any ideas if I should worry, ignore it, or can I turn off this alert?

Interesting.I'm having the same alert on a PC that I am currently reinstalling O/s updates etc,I've just switched the alert off for now.

Strange, just installed another bunch of updates and windows seemingly now see Zonealarm.

Not sure what to suggest.

Try msconfig. And if it is still ticked on there and is operating on your quick start everything should be Ok.

Thanks, guys. Have just applied OS updates, and all seems well now - no alert. Strange!
