I'm running version 5.5.094.000 which I beleive is the latest freebie version. I've had no problems at all so far. My system XP home and running explorer 6 broadband with BT Yahoo.

Yes, had lots of problems. Took it off and went back to the previous version which is the same as Torwalker has.

The reason I asked was that when I downloaded the first new version it would either not install properly or would cause an error where by you would have to do a reboot but after you did all that it still had the error so I went back to 5.5.094. This new version 6.0.667.000 that I downloaded this morning appears to be working like it's supposed to at the present time. In case I have to uninstall this version does anybody have a location that I can go to for version 5.5.094.000 so as to reinstall that version. Also my computer spec is HP Pavilion zv5323, AMD Athlon xp 3000+ m, 512MB ram, 40GB H/D, nvidia G Force 420 go 32MB, XP Home SP2. J.B.

click here for instructions on uninstall of v6 and reverting to v5.5.

Glad to hear that you are having success with the latest version. Previous one caused many problems. Hopefully they have addressed the bugs in this version. Suggest people monitor posts in the ZA forum to get a general view of others experiences before applying updates.

I've used ZA free for several years, install it on several other systems and have done so with the latest version (6.0.667.000) and it has been very successful each time, including the updating.

Perhaps you are not following the instructions exactly as required, particularly the Update/Clean Install choice.

I always use Update to maintain the established configuration.
