iwas having a few trojans so i put on zone alarm. however every time i reboot now the "wincommander" does not respond and the only way to complete the boot is through task manager and ending the above non responsive item

any solutions?

Do you actually use wincommander? If not, use msconfig to disable it click here

It may be listed as C:\Program Files\wincmd\WINCMD32.EXE

its full title is winstart commander and it is not listed in c programs

One way may be to specifically set Zone Alarm programme page to allow this programme

Another is to uninstall it

yes i did but i found in the file there and i have uninstalled it now and the system boots first time
