Hello friends, I've been trying to downmload a folder of files from a website which I did and saved into a desktop folder. I attempted to open the downloded folder and use its files but an error message came up saying:

Windows cannot open the folder. The compressed (zipped) folder "C:\Users..........\project2007_files.zip is invalid".

What does this mean and what can I do to retrieve the files? I use a laptop running Vista Home Basic. Thanks.

Is this the website?

I have just downloaded project2007_files.zip and it opens up no problem.

I am using winrar to decompress but that should not make a difference.

I suggest you try again as original download looks like it may be corrupted.

Zip file contains 8 separate files

I'd downloaded the folder from Kathy Schwalbe's personal website:

Anyway, I've taken it from the ftp site you led me to and it's fine now. Thanks for help.
